Creative Escape: Felted Flowers

Creative Escape: Felted Flowers

Are you seeking a creative outlet but find that your time - and training - are limited? Come to the museum to unwind, mingle, and make art. Designed for adults who want to awaken their inner artists, this program features a hands-on needle-felting activity inspired by the colors and geometry in the exhibition, From Homer to Hopper: Experiment and Ingenuity in American Art. Participants will follow simple instructions to create a sculptural flower to attach to a pin, magnet, or barrette. No experience necessary; fee includes art materials and light refreshments. BYOB!

The museum will open at 5:30 p.m. with the workshop beginning at 6:00 p.m.

This workshop is also offered on March 8.
