To gain notice in an ever-changing world, books must keep up with the times. Join three-time Caldecott-winning illustrator, David Wiesner, as he discusses his strategy for staying current. Featured works will include Wiesner’s creative version of The Three Little Pigs (currently on view as part of Cinderella & Co.—Three Fairy Tales Reimagined); Spot, a story that is also a computer app; and the graphic novel Fish Girl. The Museum will open at 5:30 p.m. with the presentation at 6 p.m. A book signing and reception will follow. Titles by Wiesner will be available for purchase in the Museum shop.

David Wiesner is a three-time winner of the prestigious Caldecott Medal for the most distinguished American picture book for children. His popular titles include Tuesday, The Three Pigs, Flotsam and Mr. Wuffles! Wiesner resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia, where he works on is current illustrations and books. Aware of the changing times, Wiesner has also published a graphic novel titled Fish Girl and created an interactive app called Spot.
