Music on the Brandywine: Dolce Suono Trio

Enjoy a rare performance of "American Canvas for Flute, Cello, and Piano" by Jennifer Higdon, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, commissioned by Dolce Suono Ensemble. The piece features three movements inspired by great American painters: Andrew Wyeth, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Jackson Pollock.

The trio is comprised of internationally acclaimed artists Mimi Stillman, flutist, founder and artistic director, who is a well-known soloist, chamber musician, and Yamaha Performing Artist; Charles Abramovic, pianist, Professor of Keyboard Studies at Temple University and Stillman's duo partner of 14 years; and Nathan Vickery, cellist and member of  The New York Philharmonic.

$40, members and $50 for non-members; includes a complimentary glass of wine or sparkling water and light fare. Cash bar available. The performance begins at 7 p.m., Museum galleries will be open prior to the performance for guests to view Andrew Wyeth: In Retrospect.
