Transform ordinary and unusual art supplies into new creations, and awaken the imagination with the return of the renowned Funicular Circus, who will amaze all with their innovative wire-walking performance.
PNC Arts Alive First Sundays for Families at the Museum presents free, hands-on workshops with creative art activities and performances for visitors of all ages.
11 a.m.–2 p.m. – Transform ordinary and unusual art supplies into new creations with hands-on activities led by teaching artists throughout the museum.
Noon – The Funicular Circus performs “The Little Circus” in the courtyard. This interactive production combines humor with juggling, trapeze and tight wire, and is appropriate for all ages.
1:30 p.m. – The Funicular Circus will attempt their second walk across the Brandywine River on a tight wire, featuring new tricks and surprises for 2017.
Please note that the river crossing is weather permitting. All other activities will be held indoors in case of rain.
