Develop an original cartoon and create art inspired by fantastic illustrations from Get the Picture! Contemporary Children’s Book Illustration. Exercise mind and body and explore the world of imagination as dancer Lisa Oster brings classic tales to life, followed by a performance by the Academy of International Ballet, including excerpts from the Nutcracker.

Performance by the Academy of International Ballet

Sunday, October 2, 1:30 p.m.

Enjoy a beautiful and lively performance by dancers from the Academy of International Ballet. The dancers will perform a variety of classical and contemporary works as well as excerpts from the Nutcracker Ballet, under the artistic direction of Denis Gronostayskiy and Anastasia Babayeva. The seated event will be held in the Lecture Room. The Academy of International Ballet, located in Media, PA, offers training in classical ballet to a wide spectrum of students in the finest traditions of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, using their time-honored Russian-based Vaganova ballet method.
