From the spectacular O-gauge model train display with trains running on nearly 2,000 feet of track, to a collection of rare antique dolls dressed in beautiful period clothing, plus thousands of whimsical Critters (ornaments and decorations handcrafted by Brandywine volunteers from natural materials) displayed on towering trees soaring up through the museum's three-story atrium, A Brandywine Christmas promises delightful family fun.

HARP PERFORMANCE
Saturdays, December 3–January 7 (except 12/10), 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Harpist Mary Groce entertains as she interacts with visitors of all ages in the holiday doll display.

ALL THINGS CRITTER – A GUIDED TOUR
Thursday, December 1, 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 7 p.m.

Enjoy an exclusive guided tour through the critter display and learn about the history of critters, how they’re made and what makes them so special!

ANNUAL CRITTER SALE
Thursday, December 1, 5–9
Friday, December 2–Sunday, December 4, 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

Featuring Christmas ornaments made from all-natural materials, by museum volunteers.

LATE THURSDAYS IN DECEMBER
Thursday, December 1, 5–9 p.m.

THE POLAR EXPRESS READ-ALOUD PAJAMA NIGHT
Thursday, December 1, 7–8 p.m.

Children are invited to wear their pajamas as they delight in the tale of The Polar Express and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies.

Sunday, December 4, 1–3 p.m.

Listen to international opera singer Peter Campbell sing songs of the holiday season.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY
Wednesday, December 7, 6–8 p.m.

Celebrate the season at a beloved family tradition! Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoy entertainment, costumed characters, face painting, model trains, antique dolls, trees adorned with critters and Cookie Land!
