Mapping

Mapping

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping is a critical planning and conservation tool.

GIS allows us to identify, analyze, and communicate patterns and relationships between any number of cultural or natural resources.

  • We use GIS mapping to identify, analyze, and communicate information on: zoning and land use for comprehensive planning, build-out and building density scenarios, transfer of development rights (TDR) planning, stormwater management, proposed and existing trail networks, and protected and unprotected open space.
  • We share this technology with local governments, peer organizations, and private landowners, by offering high-quality customized color maps suitable for research, interactive presentations, and publication.
