Stormwater Management & Green Infrastructure

Our mantra is “treat stormwater as a resource.”

  • We are leaders in innovative stormwater management and green infrastructure practices. Undeveloped natural landscapes capture and filter stormwater, minimizing water runoff.
  • We design stormwater management systems to mimic natural landscapes — rain gardens and porous pavers are two examples of structural improvements that encourage infiltration and groundwater recharge.
  • We assist municipalities by reviewing site and stormwater management plans, writing stormwater management ordinances and low impact development standards, and collaborating on special green infrastructure projects. Additionally— our stormwater management techniques minimize a development’s effects on water quality, enabling Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) pollution reduction credits.
