Nutty Tree Series: Know Your Oaks

Our Nutty Tree Series kicks off with getting to know your oaks!

Did you know that 21 nut-producing trees are native to Pennsylvania? These seeds are important sources of revenue and are invaluable to wildlife. Join us during our Nutty Tree Series to learn how you can support these species on your property.  Attend all four workshops and receive a free butternut tree!

All Workshops:

July 30: Know Your Oaks
August 27: Mind Your Beeches and Birch
September 24: Mighty Hickories and Walnuts
October 22: Cherished Chestnuts

The Nutty Tree Series is brought to you by Penguin Court, a Preserve of Brandywine Conservancy, Pennsylvania Master Naturalist, and Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve. All workshops will be held at the WPNR, located at 744 Walzer Way, Latrobe, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be available.
