Public Meeting for the Brandywine Water Trail

The Brandywine Conservancy and Chester County Planning Commission have undertaken a feasibility study for a formalized water trail along Brandywine Creek and are happy to present the draft report. We invite you to attend this meeting and learn more about the plans for a Brandywine Creek Water Trail. A draft report will be made available online for public review in late October.

The guest speaker will be Tim Schaeffer, Executive Director, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission

WHAT IS A WATER TRAIL?

A water trail is simply a route along a waterway for recreational use, enhanced by connections to land trails. Water trails involve stewardship by the local community to protect and enhance the natural, scenic, cultural, and historic resources along the waterway.
