Tip-a-Canoe and Barbecue, too!

[Update as of Saturday, July 13]
As of this morning, the river levels are back to normal and safe conditions. We are happy to report that our Tip-a-Canoe & BBQ, Too! event will continue on as originally planned. As a reminder, the last bus for the canoe trip will leave The Big Bend no later than 1:15 p.m. We look forward to seeing you out for a fun time on the Brandywine today, and we can’t wait for the delicious backyard barbecue that will be waiting for us at the end of our river journey!

This annual event marks the official start of summer at the Brandywine! Soak up the sun on a canoe trip down the Brandywine River to a backyard BBQ that will tantalize your taste buds. Cool down with fresh ice cream from Woodside Farms Creamery and—once you’ve had your fill—dance the night away with music by Crazy in Stereo.
