Families are invited to dive into a variety of resources created specifically for individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorder. Sensory exploration kits that contain artwork reproductions, hands-on activities, fidgets, and access to online content are available to help families engage with Brandywine's art collection from home during this period of limited on-site programming.
Kits may be reserved free of charge and picked up at the Museum during open hours through October 2. Optional shipping is available for $10 per family.
Brandywine is committed to providing accessible education programs and works with local families, self-advocates, occupational therapists, and educators to design sensory-friendly programs for visitors on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorder and their families.
