Setting Down Roots: The N. C. Wyeth House and Studio

Join Christine Podmaniczky, Curator of N. C. Wyeth Collections & Historic Properties, for a fascinating presentation on the N. C. Wyeth House and Studio, a National Historic Landmark.  

Chrisine Podmaniczky is the co-curator of N. C. Wyeth: New Perspectives on view at the Brandywine River Museum of Art June 22 - September 15, 2019. Podmaniczky has installed and researches the Museum’s N. C. Wyeth House and Studio and the Andrew Wyeth Studio. Recent exhibitions include N. C. Wyeth’s Men of Concord (Concord Museum, 2016), and, with H. Nichols Clark, Get the Picture! Recent Children’s Book Illustration (BRMA, 2016). She is the author of N. C. Wyeth Catalogue Raisonné of Paintings (Scala, 2008) and American Treasures, The Brandywine River Museum of Art (Rizzoli, 2017). She has contributed essays to Rural Modern: American Art Beyond the City (Rizzoli, 2016), Andrew Wyeth: In Retrospect (Yale, 2017), and Frank E. Schoonover: American Visions (Norman Rockwell Museum, 2018).
