Free First Sunday: Community Conversation: African American History

Join us for an afternoon Community Conversation at the Brandywine Museum of Art, where we'll come together to share perspectives, exchange stories, and connect through the themes of art and the world around us. One of the overarching prompts for discussion is, “What Black history are we witnessing daily?”

Penguin Court Tour and AR Experience

Enjoy a tour of Penguin Court, the former Scaife family estate in Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County that is now a private preserve of the Brandywine Conservancy. Learn about the site's history and Brandywine's use of it, while taking in beautiful views.

Stroller Tour

Enjoy a relaxed morning out with your little one while engaging with art in the galleries. This guided tour is designed especially for adults accompanied by babies. Cost includes Museum admission.

Flâneur the Brandywine

On this guided stroll, participants are invited to wander the Brandywine's scenic campus trails, which have long inspired the Wyeths and other notable artists. Participants will be supplied with a small booklet in which to make notes, sketch, and find brief quotes and prompts from some of our favorite literary flâneurs.

T'ai Chi Chih at the Brandywine

T'ai Chi Chih is a mindful, moving meditation and a wonderful way to center and balance oneself. April Leffler will lead attendees in the Museum's Waterview Room for 19 slow moving, meditative movements. No special clothing or equipment is required.
