The Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art is seeking a reliable, personable individual for a part-time security position in a calm, professional museum setting.
This role is ideal for someone looking for a flexible, limited hours—such as someone seeking supplemental income.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Monitor museum and grounds to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Provide a visible, friendly presence for visitors and staff
- Perform routine checks of the facility
- Respond to basic situations as needed
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Dependable and punctual
- Calm, observant, and good judgment
- Comfortable working independently
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work occasional special events (normally 5–9 p.m.)
- Ability to work after hours a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Background check required of all employees
POSITION DETAILS:

COMPENSATION: $15.00 per hour
