Trails & Tales - Shaw's Bridge Park

Join Brandywine Conservancy staff alongside municipal and community partners for a seasonal series of gentle walks to learn the behind-the-scenes actions involved in creating public outdoor community spaces. These leisurely walks held at sites throughout Chester County will highlight projects made possible through collaborative efforts and public support.

T'ai Chi Chih in the Courtyard

T'ai Chi Chih is a mindful, moving meditation and a wonderful way to center and balance oneself. April Leffler will lead attendees in the Museum courtyard for 19 slow moving, meditative movements. No special clothing or equipment is required.

Nature Sketch & Stroll

Nature and art enthusiasts, this stroll’s for you. Join award winning artist and instructor Randy Graham and botanical expert, Janet Ebert for a morning walk to experience Brandywine’s campus and/or meadows and native plantings. Randy will provide an introduction with teaching tips to effectively capture details of the natural surroundings through sketching, while Janet’s native botanical expertise will fuel your curiosity to learn more about the local ecology. The walk will be interspersed with stops to give participants the opportunity to engage in independent sketching.
