Barks and Brews
Dust off your lederhosen and beer steins and head to the Brandywine for an outdoor Oktoberfest celebration in the Museum’s courtyard. Family, friends and canine companions are all welcome.
Enjoy a selection of craft beers from Two Stones Pub, plus wine and soft drinks; dine on a delectable menu of German-inspired fare by Chef Mike Kline, Executive Chef of the Brandywine’s Millstone Café; and tap your feet to a rich mix of acoustic folk-rock blues by local band Moondawgs. And speaking of dogs, be sure to bring your favorite pooch along for the fun—bonus barking points for Oktoberfest dog costumes! Brandywine volunteers will be on-hand to dog sit well-behaved pets for owners who wish to visit the Museum’s galleries, including the new Natural Wonders: The Sublime in Contemporary Art exhibition.

Please note: Dogs must be leashed at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Dogs are welcome in the Museum’s courtyard, campus grounds and trails. Only service animals are permitted inside the Museum and its galleries.
