Meet artist, Karl J. Kuerner, as he signs copies of his new book, Beyond the Art Spirit: The Mentoring of a Young Artist by Carolyn Wyeth and Her Brother Andrew. The book is available for purchase in the Museum Shop.
Karl J. Kuerner is a Chadds Ford artist and the grandson of two of Andrew Wyeth’s best-known subjects, Karl and Anna Kuerner. Taught by Carolyn Wyeth and mentored by Andrew Wyeth, Karl has painted for over 50 years and has contributed greatly to the tradition of American realism. Karl teaches painting classes at Kuerner Farm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
