Creative Escape: Learning Linocut

Come muse and create visual imagery through the artistic practice of printmaking. Learn more about the fundamentals and history of different types of printing from teaching artist and printmaker Charlotte Holt, along with getting to design and carve a linocut print to take home. All materials will be provided, and no experience is necessary. Light snacks will be available, and BYOB is encouraged.
The museum galleries will open at 5:30 p.m., with the workshop beginning at 6:00 p.m.

About Charlotte Holt:
Charlotte Holt is a Philadelphia-based artist and printmaker whose work focuses on the tenderness of nature and place. Her body of work is predominately linocut and woodcut prints.
Holt is the Studio Coordinator at Second State Press, a community printshop in Philly, where she oversees shop projects and helps with exciting community events and workshops.
