Music on the Brandywine
Emily Levin is a winner of Astral’s 2016 National Auditions and appears at Brandywine courtesy of Astral. The Bronze Medal winner of the 9th USA International Harp Competition, she brings the harp to the forefront of a diverse musical spectrum, believing strongly in music’s ability to both communicate and connect with all audiences.
Ms. Levin made her Carnegie Hall debut with the Chamber Orchestra of New York in June 2018, in Mozart’s Flute and Harp Concerto, which she also recently performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra under Jaap van Zweden. In the 2017-2018 season, she gave over 30 performances across North America, including appearances at National Sawdust, (Le) Poisson Rouge, the Lyric Chamber Society, Virginia Harp Center, Dallas City Performance Hall, Meyerson Symphony Center, Englewood Fine Arts, the University of Ottawa, and the Southwestern Music Festival, as well as with the Fine Arts Chamber Players.
Museum opens at 6 p.m.; performance begins at 7 p.m. Cash bar and lite fare will be available.
