Plein Air Day at Miller Farm

Join us for a special opportunity to blend art and sustainable agriculture. 262-acre Miller Farm was once used to raise cattle and horses in rolling pastures, and is now leased in partnership with the Brandywine Conservancy by organic farmers Trey & Dierdre Flemming of Two Gander Farm. Artists working in all media are invited to explore the property where they can sketch, paint or photograph the iconic setting. Brandywine staff will be available throughout the event to answer questions and provide information about the farm.

Participants will meet at Miller Farm in Downingtown, PA; directions will be provided upon registration. A porta-potty is available at the site. Participants are responsible for providing all art materials. Spaces are limited. This event is intended for artists to explore the farm as a place of inspiration.
