Plein Air Inside Out
Get special access to draw or paint the wintry scenes of Brandywine Creek from inside the warmth of the Brandywine Museum of Art.
Artists working in all media are invited to set up in one of the museum’s lobby floors and take advantage of the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river. Participants are also welcome to walk along the riverfront and take reference pictures, or sketch with pencil in the museum galleries. The cost of this program includes museum admission, so explore and feel inspired by the latest exhibitions.
Participants will meet on the first floor at the Brandywine Museum of Art and are responsible for providing all their own materials, including a tarp or sheet to protect the floor. Restrooms and access to water are available on-site. The Millstone Café will also be open, where snacks and beverages can be purchased.
This event will also be held on Thursday, February 18 & Friday, March 19.
