Studio Spotlight with Dylan Gauthier

Studio Spotlight with Dylan Gauthier

Join artist Dylan Gauthier for a discussion of his creative practice which combines video, performance, sculpture, and digital media. Gauthier will share updates on his latest work, including a crowdsourced augmented reality and public drawing project which aims to reimagine New York City’s waterways. The artist will also revisit projects from his experience as Brandywine’s first artist-in-residence in 2017 such as highwatermarks, an immersive film which captured a year along the Brandywine River, from its headwaters in Honey Brook Township to its mouth in Wilmington.

Dylan Gauthier is a Brooklyn-based artist whose research-based and collaborative projects explore the intersections between ecology, architecture, landscape, and environmental justice. His work has been exhibited at the Centre Pompidou, CCVA at Harvard University, the Center for Architecture, the Neuberger Museum at SUNY Purchase, the Walker Art Center, EFA Project Space, and other venues in the US and abroad.
