Join us online for a lively conversation with Senior Curator Amanda C. Burdan and Barbara Shermund’s niece, Amanda Gormley about the exhibition, Tell Me a Story Where the Bad Girl Wins: The Art and Life of Barbara Shermund.

Amanda Gormley, a professional investigator by trade, began learning about her own family history and uncovered the triumphs and tragedies of Shermund’s story. Gormley will share her unique perspective of helping write a woman cartoonist back into history and laying her to rest. The Museum’s exhibition on Shermund has been extended through July 13.
