Flâneur the Brandywine

Flâneur the Brandywine

Throughout history, many great artists and writers have found inspiration by simply wandering and observing the world around them. This unhurried, curious way of walking—once called being a flâneur—is all about slowing down and letting your surroundings spark ideas.

On this guided stroll, participants are invited to wander the Brandywine's scenic campus trails, which have long inspired the Wyeths and other notable artists. Participants will be supplied with a small booklet in which to make notes, sketch, and find brief quotes and prompts from some of our favorite literary flâneurs.

Participants will meet at the Chadds Ford Township Building parking lot located at 10 Ring Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317

Rain date 10/17/25
