Join DCNR educators for a one-day Project Learning Tree (PLT) K-8 educator workshop. PLT is an award-winning environmental education program that uses the forest as a window to the world and teaches children HOW to think not WHAT to think. This curricula guide is compiled of numerous lesson plans and activities that help young people understand environmental issues and challenges. All activities meet state and national education standards and are appropriate for formal and informal educators.

Act 48 hours are available upon request.

This event is hosted by Penguin Court, a Preserve of Brandywine Conservancy, and will be held at the Nimick Family Education Center in Ligonier, PA.
