Trail Stewardship Workshops

Trail Stewardship Workshops

Brandywine Conservancy, Natural Lands, and Willistown Conservation Trust are partnering with Pennsylvania Equine Council to offer a one-day Trail Stewardship Workshop with two locations to choose from. This workshop will provide an opportunity for our community to learn sustainable trail layout, construction, maintenance, tool selection, and use. The morning session will be a presentation, and the afternoon will be a hands-on workshop where participants can implement and practice some of what they learned. The workshop is geared towards equestrian trail users, but many of the concepts taught are applicable for all sorts of trail enthusiasts, including hikers, bikers, and cross-country skiers.

Presenters: Gwen and Bud Wills, Pennsylvania Equine Council
