Sensory-Friendly Programming Advisory Committee Meeting
Wednesday, February 5, 2020
The Brandywine River Museum of Art is seeking to expand its Sensory-Friendly Programming Advisory Committee.
Since 2017 Brandywine has offered programs designed for people on the autism spectrum and with sensory-processing disorder, and we continue to improve and expand these programs through the help of a volunteer advisory committee. In order to continually align with the needs in our community, we are searching for autism self-advocates as well as families, educators, and therapists to join the committee which provides insight and suggestions for these growing programs. Committee members may contribute to our conversation in a variety of ways, such as surveys, focus groups, or one-on-one meetings.
For more information or to sign up, contact Laura Westmoreland at 610-388-8120 or LWestmoreland@brandywine.org, or fill out the contact form above.
During our meeting we will tour the building, share information about our current and upcoming programming, and seek feedback and advice. This will also be a great opportunity to meet other people in our community! Snacks will be provided.
If you are unable to make the meeting but would like to get involved with this committee, please contact Laura Westmoreland at LWestmoreland@brandywine.org or 610-388-8120.
