The Brandywine Museum of Art offers a unique combination of art and nature, creating a beautiful and unique location for your wedding or special event. Imagine your event riverside and surrounded by an internationally renowned collection of art.
The Museum is available for weddings and private events with a 5-hour rental from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. for $4,500. During your event, our six galleries are open for you and your guests to enjoy for the first two consecutive hours. Up to 80 guests can be accommodated for a seated dinner and up to 250 with a cocktail-only reception.
This space is on the first floor of the Museum and has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river. It can accommodate up to 80 for a seated dinner. Additional: $500.
If you are planning to have only a ceremony here, the fee is $2,500 for a 90-minute rental of the courtyard and special exhibition gallery. This includes set-up and removal of chairs. If your reception will also be at the Museum, the cost of having a ceremony here is an additional $500.
The Museum's in-house caterer offers many delicious food choices, for either a seated dinner or a stations presentation. Seated dinner packages begin at $185 per person (based on 80 guests); stations dinner packages begin at $165 per person (based on 80 guests).
