Museum Explorers: All About Andrew

Explore the Brandywine Museum of Art this summer through weekly adventures for families. Each Thursday morning from July 9th through July 30th, discover new treasures in art and nature on scavenger hunts through the galleries and creative art projects to make and take home.

T'ai Chi Chih at the Brandywine

T'ai Chi Chih is a mindful, moving meditation. April Leffler will lead attendees in 19 slow moving, meditative movements. T'ai Chi Chih is a wonderful way to center and balance oneself. No special clothing or equipment is required. Classes will be held in the Waterview Room on the 2nd Floor of the Brandywine Museum of Art.

An inclusive and beginner-friendly yoga class designed for practitioners of all levels to explore the transformative benefits of yoga in just one hour. Join us for a blissful journey of movement, breath, and mindfulness as we cultivate harmony and balance in body and mind.

Plein Air Evening at Kuerner Farm

Get special access to Kuerner Farm, a National Historic Landmark, where Andrew Wyeth found intriguing subjects for hundreds of tempera paintings, watercolors, and drawings for more than 70 years. Artists working in all media are invited to explore the property where they can sketch, paint, or photograph the iconic setting. One of Brandywine's knowledgeable interpreters will be available throughout the event to answer questions and provide insight into Wyeth's creative process.
