Pocopson Comprehensive Plan Update

Welcome to the website for the Pocopson Township Comprehensive Plan. This webpage will be updated regularly to provide meeting materials from project Task Force meetings, and information about public participation.

This plan will serve as an update to the 2014 Pocopson Comprehensive Plan and was officially kicked off in March 2026. Throughout the process, key topic areas will be discussed as well as implementable recommendations to guide the Township over the next 10 years. The plan is anticipated to be completed fall of 2027.

Community Visioning Open House, May 4, 2026, 5:30PM to 7PM, Pocopson Township Office, 664 South Wawaset Road, West Chester

Your Pocopson. Your Vision. Join us for a Community Conversation about the future of our town! This is your chance to share what matters most to you about this community and help guide our Comprehensive Plan — the document that shapes decisions about growth, infrastructure, open space, parks, transportation, housing, and more over the next 10 years.
 
This is an open-house style event with no presentations and no formal speeches. Just stop by when it works for you. You’ll be able to move at your own pace through a series of interactive stations where we’ll ask:
  • What do you love most about our community?
  • What could be improved?
  • Where should future investments and funding go?
  • What should we protect as we grow?
